Local butchers, grocers and bakeries in NYC that name their farms
21 shops at 23 locations in NYC that name the farms, mills or regions at least one category of what they sell comes from. Each entry quotes its source and links to it.
How a place gets on this list
- The place names the farms, mill, fishery or growing region a category of its food comes from, or a third party with first-hand knowledge documents it (for example, GrowNYC listing a restaurant as a regular Greenmarket buyer).
- Slogans like "farm to table" alone don't count.
- Each finding covers only the category it names. Every source is quoted word for word, with a link and the date it was checked.
- Eat Healthier quotes what places publish and does not inspect kitchens.
